Birth Doula

I believe the process of pregnancy, labor/birth and mothering are among the most incredible experiences a woman can have.  During this time, surrounding yourself with the support energy and wisdom of other women can enrich the entire experience.  Having a doula during this incredible journey can help physically, emotionally and spiritually. 

Childbirth is a natural process but sometimes needs a little help.  I am comfortable supporting any and all of your choices. 

Although my clinical skills are not part of my services as a doula, the many of experience gained provides extensive knowledge that can be shared with my clients and families. My goal is to provide you with nurturing informed support starting with your pregnancy and continuing into the initial weeks of parenthood. 

• 2 Prenatal meetings
• Assistance with creating a birth plan
• Access to my lending library
• Phone and email support throughout pregnancy and postpartum period
• Continuous physical and emotional support throughout labor & delivery both at home and at the hospital or birth center
• Photography as requested by the parents
• Continued support during initial postpartum period to assist with breastfeeding or other tasks. 
• 1 postpartum home visit
